Here's a little about myself. I always new I wanted to be a singer from a child and I have been a professional musician for about 10 years now.
Recently I was won the Rising Star Female Award at the Southern Stars Australian Independent Country Music Awards and I'm still buzzing !!
I play a lot of gigs around South East Queensland as well as travel to play festivals like Tamworth, Mildura and National Music Muster at Amamoor. I would love to see more of Australia and the world travelling playing music !
I have recently released my debut album Lead You Astray which I'm so proud of ! It was produced by Brendan Radford who's an awesome producer and singer/guitarist from Brisbane QLD.
I wrote and co-wrote half of the songs from the album and I recorded a cover of the beautiful duet "If I Needed You" which was originally recorded by Emmylou Harris and Don Williams. I also recorded a cover of "You're Gonna Get Hurt" which was written by Andrew Farris from INXS and originally recorded by Jenny Morris.
I wrote the song "Close The Door" which is about finalising a relationship and wanting to move on, this song also was runner up in the Country Section of the Australian Songwriting Contest. "My Heart's Alway's Calling Home," is another track that I wrote when I was out on the road and missing all my family and friends, I think anyone who's spent time away from home will relate to this song and it's one of my favorites.
I'm a bit of a country rock lover so I recorded some really grooving like "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" and "Half The Fun," which is also a co-write with Brendan.
I just love music and love to sing and appreciate everyone else who love's music, it just makes you feel so good !
