As we sit today take a moment to look around your community and see what it is you can do to help better it, to change the whole world you need to start at the smallest village. Take a look at your local school, government office, parks, even your neighbors might need help even if they don’t ask.... You can make a difference in this world today! you probably already have in the past and did not even know it...... Take an idea and make it reality... From reading a book to your child or some one else's child, collecting donations, going to a rally for a cause you believe in or even writing a letter to your editor... These are all ways we can honor all those who have fought physically and mentally for our freedoms! Who gave us the ability to stand proud as Americans as Human beings.... to be able to say that if we believe in a DREAM it can come true. Take some time to pay tribute to the legacy of Coretta Scott King and her husband’s impact on the AMERICAN DREAM.

Teaching civic duty and good will! Find ways to change your community for the better, Help someone in need. Take a look at your community what is needed? What is it that community leaders are not doing? What can you do for your community? What can you do to help? Anything from being a Mentor, Helping get speed bumps put on to a street that has little children, getting involved in any form of community activism. No one else is going to do it for you but your self! It all makes our country and world a better place. its the perfect time for CRAZY IDEAS, That’s with everything that is going on in our country and the world we need to still be able to stop and think about what’s going on in our communities we live in! The goal of A Crazy Idea is ultimately to share these peoples stories- to reach you, to open up your eyes and your heart. What are you doing to help those in need right in your own town? Has America lost its values for which this great nation was built on? We're all too busy lost in a modern day society focused on, What’s in it for me? - eating spoonfuls of celebrity gossip, absorbed with meaningless media and pop culture and have forgotten to slow down to enjoy our families, each other, and life in general.
Who are we, and what has the human race become? As we move forward let us not forget that we are not tin men, we are real humans with real human hearts. We need to outstretch our hands and stop living in OZ.
Is it that crazy to take the time to make a difference? Not at all. What’s crazy is passing the poor man on the corner and not even giving so much as a kind word of hope! What’s crazy is knowing that the child two doors down is growing up with out a father, who is lonely and needs someone to talk to- someone to tell him not to loose sight of his dreams! What’s crazy is not speaking out about issues that are affecting you in your own home town and nationally! What’s crazy is not voting! What’s crazy is watching the news and not getting up off the couch and doing something- anything to make this world a better place! That’s crazy!
What if their story was your story? How would you feel if you lost everything? And where would you be now? What would your town look like? And what would you want to tell others? What would you want others to do? Get out and change the world you can do it! Everything counts! As a team we can tie the world back together!
We are taking on every human service field aspect from helping end poverty, working as a disaster relief organization, Volunteer outreach, creating person centered programs for disabled adults, and of course community outreach programs that really help
Some of the social justice issues we have dealt with: improved housing conditions for the economically disadvantaged, increase community safety, secure living wages for all workers and improve the quality of local schools.
We have begun a to build partnerships not only with grassroots organizations our country but in other countries as well. Through these partnerships, A CRAZY IDEA, Inc will help to strengthen democratic movements for social change abroad, and at home. While continuing our efforts building a networking, funds sharing, community growing, volunteering/civic duty program here in the USA.
We at A CRAZY IDEA, survive on grassroots fundraisers, concerts, private donors and other products. We do this so that we can help not just our community groups grow but help other non profits grow.
Who I'd like to meet: Just from the headlines in todays paper we see its time for a change! we need to take control of our lives and destinies! we need to stand up for what we believe in! We always need to remember that what we teach our youth now, what we do now to our country will effect all of our futures!

We bring together direct care workers, parents, youths, volunteers, random people, religious leaders, and political leaders. We are set up to enable and educate people to help them selves. We also consider our selves a support agency for direct care workers, parents, youths and volunteers in the USA. We have a number of projects that we do! A woman is beaten every nine seconds in the United States. Domestic violence is the most under-reported crime in the country, with the actual incidence 10 times higher than is reported. About 17 percent of women report experiencing physical or sexual violence during pregnancy. Domestic violence is one of the nation's best kept secrets. Myths and misunderstandings abound. Knowing the facts is an important step toward breaking the cycle of violence. Fact: Almost four million women are beaten in their homes every year by their male partners. Although the first violent incident may not be severe, once battering begins, it tends to increase in severity and frequency, sometimes leading to permanent injury or death. What may begin as an occasional slap or shove will turn into a pushy down the stairs, a punch in the face, or a kick in the stomach. Fact: Battering is not about anger or losing control; it is an intentional choice focused on maintaining power and control in the relationship. Batterers manage not to beat their bosses or terrorize their friends when they are angry. Fact: The batterer is responsible for the violence – not the victim. People are beaten for breaking an egg yolk while fixing breakfast, for wearing their hair a certain way, for dressing to nicely or not nicely enough, for cooking the wrong meal, or any other number of excuses. These incidents do not warrant or provoke violence. Even when you disagree, you do not deserve to be beaten. People who are battered do not want to be beaten.
