Cashis is an American rapper, born and raised in Chicago but relocated to Orange County, California. When Cashis' group "The Renegades" sent a demo tape to Eminem's Shady Records label, Eminem instead signed CashisCashis was first showcased in mainstream rap when he was featured on 60% of Eminem's mixtape turned album, "Eminem Presents the Re-Up". Including all the singles for the album. Cashis also performed live on MTV's TRL and BET's 106 & Park along side Eminem, 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. Although he was featured on many of the tracks, his first solo release was the limited edition County Hound EP, on May 22,2007. Which is being re-released due to popular demand. The video for his first single off the County Hound EPLac Motion" was picked up by MTV and BET and was placed in MTV's regular rotation. The County Hound EP reached 1 on Billboard's "Top Heat Seekers" chart, 37 on the "Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums" chart. Cashis is currently working on his debut album, Loose Cannon (The Art of Dying). He is also building his own brand called Bogish Brand Entertainment.
In the meantime Cashis has done numerous features including artists such as Eminem, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Obie Trice, Prodigy, Alchemist, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Freeway, Blaq Thot, Jon B., The Federation, Gillie the Kid, Spider Loc, Hot Rod, Mistah Fab, and a host of other talented signed artists. Cashis’s future is extremely bright. Being the underboss of Shady Records, the enforcer of Shady Records, has brought a new, no nonsense image to Shady Records, adding to legacy of Hip Hop Mogul Eminem. Cashis is said to have the total package, an image great for marketing, a strong female and urban fanbase, with crossover potential. Marshall Mathers, Paul Rosenberg and Dart Parker have all been quoted in saying that Cashis is the primary focus and star of Shady Records. As long as he keeps his legal issues to an extreme minimum, Industry insiders predict that Shady Records has hit the jackpot again, with this Young Ferocious MC. as a solo act."
