Casino Junction is an independent band based out of Vancouver B.C. Forming in May 2008, Casino Junction is made up of 3 full time members, 2 brothers, Joseph Ward, and Steven Ward, and a best friend, Wes Holley.
The 3 had all played together previously in a group that disbanded in 2006. But last year when Steven returned home after living in Toronto for 2 years the brothers started writing again and without a doubt the chemistry was there. They put together a few demos and called upon an old friend Wes and thus began Casino Junction.
Together they write heart felt songs that are both emotional and up beat. Their genuine sound comes from their hearts and is expressed in a combination of acoustic and electric instruments.
Their music has been described as "falling asleep on a whales heart."
