In addition to some original material, our influences include Sandy Denny, Richard & Linda Thomson, 9 Inch Nails, Scottish & Irish traditional with a twist, Kate Rusby, Kepa Junkera, Woody Guthrie, and many more from the celtic and world roots music spectrum.
Cask was the concept of Hugh Lee. The band formed in December 06. Eryn joined in March and Bryan in June 2007. We were originally known as the Sullen Kinks but felt this didn’t suit .After hours of sweat, toil and gallons of tea ‘Cask’ was born. We play our own material but try to find original ways of doing old favourites. We hope you enjoy the music.
