I have very eclectic musical tastes. I listen to rock, pop, rap, R&B, oldies, techno, almost any kind of club music; the list goes on and on. My Outbackers think I'm weird because I listen to songs in Japanese from anime. No, I don't speak Japanese and I have no idea what they're saying. What I won't listen to: most country, gospel (pretty much any kind of "religious" music), "soft rock" (it irritates me). What I've been listening to lately, just to give you an idea: Kajun Kelley, Eric Scott, Tool, Hillary Duff, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Three Days Grace, music from Bleach, Blood+, Trinity Blood, Death Note, Inuyasha and Fullmetal Alchemist animes, Fallout Boy, Evanesance, Good Charlotte, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, The Cure, Ludacris, Oasis, Pink, Ozomatli, Ryan Cabrera, Saliva, Dave Matthews Band, Stabbing Westward, Will Smith, and Eminem. Who, by the way, is a musical genius and hot to boot. And where would Eminem be without Dr. Dre?

Harry Potter! I love Harry Potter! (I must confess that I've had some illegal thoughts about Daniel Radcliffe!) Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa. You can't be a server and not love the movie Waiting. Also My Best Friend's Wedding, Underworld, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Sex and the City, The Craft, anything with Julia Roberts, 8 Mile, all the Ernest movies, Willard, Blair Witch Project, Thirteen Ghosts, White Noise, House on Haunted Hill (seeing a theme here with the horror movies?)I am absolutely obsessed with "The Crow". I never saw the movie until a couple of years ago, and it made me so sad to learn that Brandon Lee was killed during the making of the movie. Definitely a brilliant film. If I ever stop being a chickenshit and can muster the courage to get a tattoo, it's going to be the crow symbol that he leaves when he kills his (very deserving) victims, on my upper back. I know that sounds so dark, and that darkness is a part of my life that I will always have. It's such a big part of what makes me the person I am. But it's not totally for the dark side of my personality. If you look at the grand scheme of things, our lives are so short and inconsequential, but maybe it is possible to make a difference, to quote the movie, to set the wrong things right. I'd like to think, for the sake of all the people I've lost in my life, that maybe love really is stronger than death....

Dog the Bounty Hunter! Thanks to everyone who signed the petition to get Dog and my hottie Leland back on TV! ER (SO sad that it's the last season!), Smallville, Supernatural, Intervention, Paranormal State, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Camp Lazlo, (okay, almost anything on Cartoon Network, I watch it all the time), Animal Planet (I like Animal Cops Houston and Detroit, Animal Precinct, and Meerkat Manor). On Adult Swim: Family Guy, Futurama (even though it's not on anymore), Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Tom Goes to the Mayor (Tim and Eric are brilliant and hilarious), Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Venture Brothers, Superjail, Squidbillies, Home Movies and Metalocolypse (Brendan Small is a comic genius), Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil, Sealab 2021, and a bunch more. Anime: Fullmetal Alchemist was my first anime and I'll always love it. Blood+, Death Note, Eureka Seven, Trinity Blood, Inuyasha, Code Geass:Lelouch of the Rebellion, Fruits Basket. And Bleach is my current obsession. Because of Toshiro, of course. Adult Swim has FINALLY started showing new episodes which is AWESOME because there's some really good Toshiro action coming up soon. WOO-HOO!
