I Cassandra's Cyndrom nascono a metà gennaio 2008 dall'unione delle menti di Mala (voce) e Bonny (chitarra), ai quali si aggrega subito dopo Ivan come batterista. Mentre le sessioni in sala prove proseguono, e con esse anche la stesura dei primi pezzi, incorre l'esigenza di completare la line up della band. Si provano numerosi chitarristi da aggiungere e bassisti, ma nessuno risultò essere congegnale alle esigenze del gruppo. La band decide di proseguire a tre.
In meno di 7 mesi dalla fondazione, a luglio 2008, la band registra il suo primo demo di 5 pezzi completamente autoprodotto e decide di renderlo ascoltabile solo su myspace. Il lavoro è intitolato DemoN1.
Alla fine di agosto 2008, dopo che si erano perse tutte le speranze, si aggrega il Flay, un chitarrista convertito al basso, a vestire il ruolo nella figura definitiva.
Con l'arrivo di Flay, a settembre inizia anche l'attività live, che fa incontrare ai Cassandra's Cyndrom palchi noti come quelli del NewAge Club, Ristoro, TNT Pub e Club 14, suonando in compagnia di molti gruppi tra cui Not Yet Fallen, An Ocean Between Us, Romantic Emily e molti altri...
Con l'inizio del 2009 la band inizia a stendere un repertorio tutto nuovo e da scoprire nelle performance live, e qualche riarrangiamento dei brani contenuti in DemoN1. Conseguenza della grande crescita acquisita.
A fine aprile 2009 il secondo chitarrista Doc entra a far parte della band completando in tutto e per tutto la formazione.
Il nome della band deriva dall'incrocio e storpiatura delle parole inglesi "sindrome" e "cyborg". I testi narrano vicende di vita reale, vissute da questa immaginaria Cyborg Cassandra.

The Cassandra's Cyndrom born in mid January 2008 from the minds of Mala (voice) and Bonny (guitar), shortly after the drummer Ivan join in the band. As the sessions continue, and with it, the drawing of the first songs, the band need to complete the line up. Tried to add guitarists and bassists, but none of them was ok for the needs of the group. The band wanted to go to three.
In less than 7 months after the foundation, in July 2008 the band recorded a first demo of 5 songs fully self produced and decided to make it listenable only on myspace. The work is titled DemoN1.
At the end of August 2008, after they had lost all hopes, Flay join in the band to play the bass.
With the arrival of Flay, in September begins the live activity and the Cassandra's Cyndrom meets the known stages of NewAge Club, Ristoro, TNT Pub and Club 14, in company of many bands including Not Yet Fallen, An Ocean Between Us, Romantic Emily and many others ...
With the beginning of 2009 the band began to write a whole new repertoire to explore in the live performances, and some rearrangement of the tracks of DemoN1.
In later april 2009 the second guitarist Doc join in the band to complete the line up.
The band name is a distortion of the English words "syndrome" and "cyborg". The texts tell stories of real life lived by this imaginary Cyborg Cassandra.
