Cassandra Syndrome just released their first full-length album, 'Of Patriots and Tyrants,' in early February. The politically charged and socially conscious tone of their debut album, is Cassandra Syndrome's homage to their namesake. Cassandra, the famed seeress who foresaw the fall of Troy, was cursed by the God Apollo so that no one would believe her cautionary visions. To have Cassandra Syndrome is to share Cassandra's fate—to see a dark future yet be unable to convince others of the truth.
The dark, heavy hammer laid down by Chris Kackley on guitar, Joe Cariola on bass and Jay Jericho on drums sets the stage for this intimate theater of darkness and seduction. However, it was the sinister aria of Irene Jericho which inspired renowned mixing engineer Tim Greencorn (Feist, the Stars) to take on the project.

hey guys, just showing you some love and i hope all of you had a nice 4th of the july. cant wait to meet up in winchester, VA. oh, why am i up this early? simple, i pulled an all nighter. thats right, i partied like a rock star..........nope, i lied. i went to work, went home, and downloaded some music. but anyways, july 24th should be fun for all of us. cant wait :)
