Cassanova, an American artist and songwriter of Hip Hop and R&B. Originally from Vallejo, Ca. Cassanova is well on his way to making his mark in the entertainment industry. At the age of 12, he wrote his first verse and began to further his interest in hip hop music. After forming a group (Trip Knot Klick) with his brothers and signing to indie label Arctic Wolf Ent. as a teenager, his knowledge and curiosity in music and entertainment only grew as he progressed as an artist/songwriter and performer. It was not long after that he decided to go solo with his career and take it to the next level. With such influences as Wu-Tang, Tribe Called Quest, Black sheep, Jay-Z, Rakim, Rappin 4 tay, and E-40 to name a few, he has developed the ability to write lyrics without using pen and paper, “I believe that if its from the heart then its already there, you just have to spit it out".
Growing up around substance abuse in and out of homes and sometimes even homeless, Cassanova has managed to channel his hardships into his music by elaborating on staying positive and following your dreams no matter what "I always wanted better things for myself and have never been one to settle for less". Having worked with several Indie labels and production companies, Cassanova has learned a lot on the business end of the music and entertainment industry. Not having too much success working with these companies he decided to put his money where his mouth is and distribute his own records till he can find a deal that works better for him. December 12, 2009 marks the released his first commercial record "Money N' Fly Girls" which you can find at online retailers everywhere and in select stores nationwide.
