"From This Moment On" Duet with Bryan White July 4, 2008
"Jackson" Duet with Tommy Cash August 10, 2007
Singer/ songwriter Cassidy Lynn recently moved to Nashville at the end of August from a small town in Upstate New York. Cassidy began performing publicly at age nine which quickly lead her the opportunity to open for Charley Pride at the famous Cortland Country Music Park in Cortland, New York. Soon after, she shared the stage with country music trio "Trick Pony." At sixteen, Cassidy Lynn landed herself a spot in a popular local band and soon began to teach herself to play the acoustic guitar. The following that Cassidy had started since age nine grew immensely. After a year or so with this band, Cassidy went on to form her own group with a few of the same musicians. It was to be called "Skyline featuring Cassidy Lynn." The group swept audiences everywhere. Together they did some touring, playing state and county fairs, clubs, and casinos all over New York State. Soon after, Cassidy found herself doing live interviews on local radio stations including WBKT, WBEE, WSYR, WFRG, and WBGK and hosting her own "meet and greet" sessions. Also, her music video to "Down By The Bonfire,” a song that she co-wrote with songwriter Larry Wayne Clark, was shown on Great American Country (GAC) as a voted Fan Favorite nationwide, and also on CMT as a Top 8 video in the country! Within two years, Cassidy Lynn along with "Skyline" opened for national recording artists Emerson Drive, Bucky Covington, Jason Michael Carroll, Tommy Cash, Josh Gracin, Showdog Nashville's Trailer Choir, Bryan White (their duet can be seen if you scroll down), Ashton Shepherd and Sarah Johns! In February, Cassidy had the incredible opportunity of playing the historic Ryman Auditorium and the highly credited Belmont Country Music Showcase! Cassidy is newly just 21 years old and she will be a senior this year to the Mike Curb College of Music Business at Belmont University. For her senior year, she has set up internships both with Big Machine Records and Universal Music Group! She was in town last May recording her demo at Omni Sound Studios under Artist Development Network’s Cathy Lemmon. She is also working with producer Ray Barnette and is in the process of writing more material to record in the near future. You can see Cassidy playing around town at places such as Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, 12th and Porter, Hotel Indigo, The Blue Bar, The Commodore, Dan McGuinness Pub, Douglas Corner and several others! Check back often for updates and make sure you look for Cassidy Lynn around town and say hello!
