    Cassie Compton is a singer/songwriter and actress from North London. Her credits expand from television and theatre, to studio recording and to concert and arena tours. Cassie started her career in the West End at the tender age of 10, in Andrew Lloyd Webbers -'Whistle Down the Wind'. By the age of 14 she bagged her first West End leading role starring as Mary Lennox in the Royal Shakespeare Company's-'The Secret Garden'. From there Cassie went on to appear in various television dramas. Following this at only 16 years old Cassie auditioned for ITV's The X Factor, and at 17 found herself performing at the live shows. She then followed that with a UK live arena tour. Following her success on the show as the last remaining female in her category, she went on to perform more UK tours, and various television appearances. Cassie has also performed at venues such as The Kings Head Theatre, and The Royal Albert Hall. Cassie could be seen at the end of last year as a guest lead in BBCs Casualty new year special. On deciding she wanted to get back into recording, Cassie is currently working on material for her album "The Girl". Please feel free to listen to Cassie's music. (Some of which is still currently in development...) Cassie has finished playing Eponine in the hit musical LES MISERABLES. She is now currently performing in DIRTY DANCING as Elizabeth (LEAD SINGER) at the Aldwych Theatre, West End until 25th July 2009. LATEST NEWS: Cassie will be joining the cast of hit musical WICKED in the West End as Nessarose from the 29th of March 2010. MOST RECENTLY- Cassie will be appeared as Kate in SPINACH at The Kings Head Theatre to rave reviews. She has just completed filming for Call the Midwife (BBC) and Mr. Selfridge (ITV).
