Game design, producing anything (I just like making stuf), non-music radio (particular comedy and OTR), screening t-shirts, reading (constantly), and outsider journalism. Nerf guns comtinue to be big, but the return of Wacky Packages has made my year.
Music
As long as it's not playing on Top 40 radio, I'll give it a listen. Canada's got a good music scene going on right now, so I'm currently enjoying a lot of homebrew. Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, The Western Investor, K-os, Feist, Buck 65, and so on. Basically anything on CBC Radio 3.
Dear MySpace - please invent a microplayer or way to launch the remote music player. Or I'll get you if it's the last thing I do.
All of them. My personal, absolute, beats everything favorite is Ghostbusters. It's not the best ever (though it is very very good in many many ways), it's just my favorite. There's a distinction to be made there, but I can't be arsed.
Television
NOW PLAYING: Battlestar Galactica, LOST, Justice League Unlimited, How It's Made, Rick Mercer Report, Overhaulin'. NOT PLAYING: Spaced, Black Books, Nero Wolfe, Firefly, Buffy, Angel, M*A*S*H, Sherlock Holmes, The Newsroom, Kenny vs. Spenny. NOW P2P: Masters of Horror, Comedians of Comedy, Brainiac: Science Abuse, Top Gear.
Books
BOOKS: I got a giant pile of books for x-mas - I always do. I just finished the last of my Nero Wolfe books and Kolchak: The Night Stalker (shit. I didn't put Kolchak in the TV section). Now I'm moving on to Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife by Mary Roach.
COMICS: Invincible, Y, The Last Man, The Goon, anything Hellboy related, Powers, Pulse, Exiles, Crisis, Ex Machina, Sgt. Rock (oh yeah), Planetary, and a variety of others.
Heroes
...are few and far between, so if you meet one, for fuck's sake, get their back. They need our help.

Scottish fold kittens are the best. It is your birthday? Why am I not invited? I have a new tattoo. It is a monkey. Part of it is in my armpit. That felt very bad. I wish those things were licked on by Scottish fold kittens.

Oh Chris Stewart. Why are you in Alberta and not here in Vancouver entertaining us? It's not even noon and we've already had 3 family fights. Hope your tattoo is scabbing over nicely!
Blackmail! How could you stoop so low! While I'm sure I look dorky in those Russia photos, my worst school photo was the Grade 7 yearbook one. I'm pretty sure I've destroyed all copies of that picture.
Am in Los Angeles with Dr BunBun. We had a massive Thanksgiving dinner at her friend's mom's house yesterday. Thanksgiving in November? What the effing eff?
