CASTILLION The quartet Castillion was formed in a little town outside Stockholm, Sweden. Castillion, a power metal band at first, soon moved towards the prog metal genre, now playing a heavier mix of power and prog metal with quite a unique sound. Their mix of strong melodies and energetic rhythms makes Castillion strong live band, and their music has been proven successful at many live performances. The 3-track demo "Demon Demon" was recorded in 2002 but released in 2005. "Triumph and Tragedy" was released in 2007 and included 12 tracks of energetic prog-power. In 2011 "Pieces of a Shattered Me" was released. The album containing 12 tracks of melodic progressive metal, was recorded and mixed in Studio Seven by Ronny Milianovic(Sinergy, Dionysus, Saint Deamon) and Mastered at Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren(Symphony X, Katatonia, Pain of Salvation, Opeth). It is Castillion's second full-length cd. The band is still looking for a label/publisher. -
