Founded in May 2006 the German [Harz-Mountains-Based] Metalband Cast in Silence stands for contemporary metal.....Catchy tunes, clear vocals, mighty guitar riffs and an unstoppable rhythm section are their unique trade mark characteristics..... Bridging the gap between traditional and [post]modern metal CAST IN SILENCE are open towards all different styles of heavy metal. Free from ignorance or opportunism they sound innovative, timeless and incredibly fresh - simply contemporary..... Consequently CAST IN SILENCE coin the dictionary entry for this newly invented metal category: CONTEMPORARY METAL. In October/November 2007 the band got on the road for their first European tour with Nocturnal Rites and Thunderstone. In 2010 Cast In Silence released in cooperation with the RockHarz Festival five brand new songs from May 1st to October 1st! Have a listen to the new Cast In Silence stuff in the player beside!
