The origin of the Castle goes back around 27 years ago, started by Michigan's Haunted House man himself Mr. Ed Turebus. It started as the Haunted Gallery, built from the ground up using mobile trailers. While location has changed, many of the things that have made this haunt top rated for over 20 years, remains! Last year the house was sold to Tony Amore, and the name was changed. With the help of Stephen Hopton, the Gallery was converted to what is now known as The Castle of the Dead! Adding a new entrance, huge new animatronics, more rooms, props, actors, lighting, sound, and all around ambiance, we have successfully converted this castle into a top rated haunt in the nation.....don't believe me...check it out for yourself! Increasing our size to ten mobile homes, we have made The Castle of the Dead the largest mobile haunt in the world!!!!
