The Castle Cafe Cellar Bar opened in the summer of 2005 and since then has enjoyed the almost nightly entertainment of some of the greatest bands in West Wales, and some from further afield. It is staffed by an entertaining lot, and there is always a good atmosphere.
Tickets usually cost £5 and a set meal can be purchased seperately for £3 at any point in the evening up until 10pm. There is an interval at about 9:30pm.
The Cellar Bar's capacity is currently for 120 people since we have opened the new extension/chillout room downstairs. There is a slighty larger dance area to shake your booty now and there are little nooks and crannys for more intimate socialising too! There is a bar (of course) and plenty of comfortable seating, also there is a new garden and smoking area accessible from inside the Cellar. We have musicians and bands right across the musical spectrum, suitable for all ages. Please feel free to book ahead to avoid disappointment on some of our more popular nights. Look forward to seeing you here!
N.B. For younger people....please remember to bring your ID if you wish to be served alcohol. We cannot serve you unless we are SURE you over the age limit. We encourage responsible alcohol consumption on the premises and comply with the licensing laws.

Hello Everyone At The Cellar Bar. Just wanted to say Thanks A Lot for the great night last Thursday with my first Open Mic Night Performance. I had a great time! It was great being back on that stage again and hope to be again very soon.
..........a vitality and creative spark crackling throughout this album……..This is definitely the finest thing the band have released, imaginative, crisp, free flowing and with a warm production, I heartily recommend it to all lovers of space/psychedelic rock music. “Sendelica stand out from the crowd because they have great record titles (see above) and likewise great songtitles (“Manhole of the universe” or “Dark Disko”). But mostly because they play instrumental stoner rock without getting boring. Which in itself is a feat of epic notoriety. ...... Sendelica offer a right nice banana split ,...Hm, I am getting a special taste here. ........, I start to think about Black Sabbath and John Coltrane, because there is some of both in Sendelica. . http://www.monochrom.at/cracked/reviews/Rev%20sendelica.htm
Inspired by very early Pink Floyd and Hawkwind, the band conjures a freewheeling psychedelic sound which is based on the typical power trio instrumentation of guitar, bass and drums, and then spice it up with a whole lot of electronics that add a wobbling atmosphere with the aim to abduct their audience into an acid drenched multicoloured wonderland.. a psychedelic journey that starts out quietly enough, builds up momentum and erupts eventually into a kaleidoscopic crescendo.
