About Stronghold

Stronghold: A Castle Metal Project Paz, who is a member of the metal band BleakExist (www.myspace.com/bleakexist), started writing songs for the next BleakExist recordings. The material he was coming up with was slightly different, infact more straight metal than the music he'd been writing for BleakExist. On the verge of scrapping the ideas, and after several heavy late night sessions of the fantastic castle sim STRONGHOLD, he decided to use what he'd written as a tribute to the game. Not wanting it to sound like his other band, Paz asked his friend and budding vocalist, Hedgy, to help with the singing and writing of the lyrics, concentrating on two Kings, one laying siege to the other's castle. Within a fortnight CASTLE METAL was born and now Stronghold: A Castle Metal Project are putting the final touches to the songs. We hope both the public and Firefly Studios themselves find the tunes a fitting tribute to their superb creation.
