Cast of Thousands is a San Francisco-based post-hardcore/indie rock trio whose combination of melody and dark imagery has earned it a growing following through robust recordings and intense live performances.
The band uses dynamic rhythms and boy-girl vocal harmonies to accentuate their hard-yet-melodic style. During performances, they churn out a combination of hooks, volume, and intensity.
Cast of Thousands has opened for popular national acts such as Smoking Popes, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Karate, and The City On Film and performed at esteemed Bay Area venues including San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall, Slim's, Red Devil Lounge, and The Bottom Of The Hill. In 2007, Cast of Thousands was chosen as one of the Top 5 Local Bands in modern rock radio station Live 105's annual Not So Silent Night contest.

Congrats on the new album! I like the term "listening party." It's almost a contradiction in terms, like "punching forum" or "fishing auction." See you there!
