AS A DRUMMER, playing professionally for 25+ years, I've been involved in a vast number of projects, performing in a wide variety of styles such as Live Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Pop, Rock, Orchestral, Opera, Musical, Jazz, Big-Band, etc. I've also done some work on two very successful Broadway shows, Spring Awakening, which won 8 Tony Awards, including best musical, at the 2007 Tonys, as well as Chicago, which is Broadway's longest running revival, running for 11 years straight, and still going strong. So in case you need someone to lay down some tight beatz, live or in the studio, HOLLA!!
AS A PRODUCER I've been keeping myself busy for the last 10 years or so, throwing together some of the trax you are currently listening to (i hope). I don't really know what style of music I make, and I usually don't try and sound like anybody in particular. Just listen to the trax and if you like 'em tell a friend, and if you don't like 'em tell an enemy. I'm always on the look-out for unique voices, and artists that have something more to say than "ooh baby yeah yeah," so if you think you fit into that category, and you like my trax, let me know and we'll discuss a possible collabo.
AS A COMPOSER I try to utilize the various voices of the symphonic orchestra to the best of my abilities. This is a very interesting and challenging process, which at times is extremely enjoyable and at other times vexing and infuriating. Designed sound logos for companies such as OCM Productions, and HuddsMusicScene.com, and I just finished a concerto for solo violin and orchestra, which I hope to record live sometime in late 2009. AS AN ENGINEER I ran my own commercial recording studio here in NYC, Manhattan to be exact, for a few years, but eventually had to relocate since rent in Manhattan is nothing if not outrageous. The studio kept me pretty busy for a while, recording, mixing, and mastering anything from voice-over commercials and audio books, to whole albums with bands and such. It's been a fun ride, but I'm glad that I decided to put my own music first again. So for now it's drumming, producing, and composing, and that's about all it is.

And let me just mention one more time, since many people seem to think that i'm actually doing the vocals on these trax, I AM NOT!! I merely compose, produce, drum on, and engineer these wondersome little ditties. Vocals (except for the occasional grunt or scream by yours truly) are done by people who actually are good at it (which does absolutely not include me). Just thought i'd mention that, so no one can say i mislead them :)
T, the tracks had me in another dimension. Totally cinema. It really had me drifting off into some imaginary scenario. Awesome work, as always man!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, you just made my day. It's always great to hear from you. I've been good man. Doing the single father thing. My creative brain has been activated once again and I'm looking forward to real soon (like VERY, VERY SOON) getting back into filmmaking and whatnot.
I am stoked beyond belief to get home and listen to your tracks. I happen to thing you're a musical...heck "genius" is too little a word. :-)

- The project was about trying to explore different poetry styles, always with different instrumentations and musical structures because I don't want to repeat a single one - An album not directly linked to the four previous ones, but with the impossible to avoid come back to fetish themes - Second Life is about the technological phenomena, but I got better things to do with my life than spending it on the clone of a capitalist society - We might as well hope for a real bankrupcy for all of us, it would be worth it to kill capitalism

T! Happy to hear from you man! The drum tracks sound fine... I am not at the mixing stage with MWC, still tracking... I did a couple of rough mixes and they sound great... Dennis is doing some editing and tracking on his own too so it's a true "multi-site" project... :)
