Casual Harmony is the first all-male contemporary a cappella group at one of the oldest universities in the nation. The group was founded at Rutgers University in the fall of 2003 by then Sophomore David Rabizadeh. By uniting some of the most talented male singers from around the university - Casual Harmony became an instant hit.
Since its inception, Casual Harmony has continued to excite audiences with its high energy performances and even more energetic soloists. In only five years, Casual Harmony has consistently placed in the top six of the highly competitive Mid-Atlantic region of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. Along the Way, Casual Harmony has won awards for their arrangements, choreography, and vocal percussion.
With this new self-titled album - the group has made certain to select a repertoire that embodies the sound, energy, originality and personality Casual Harmony exhibits on stage. Often times described has having an edge - Casual Harmony follows up its previous album "Score Some Harmony" with some songs that push the envelope of collegiate a cappella.
