The Scene in Scotland is still good there are at least 6 good clubs which take in most of the central belt of the region from Kilmarnock out on the West coast and Glasgow right across to Edinburgh there is also a club as far as I know up in the Orkney Islands but I have never been up there. All the clubs are on monthly so we still have a long way to go untill things are really good, like clubs being on weekly. There are around 11 or 12 rockabilly bands also based in Scotland all are pretty good and some are really outstanding. Our local club ( The Spiders Web Edinburgh ) has had quite a few bands through its doors since it started over 20 years ago, from all over inc Europe with Hot boogie Chillin, Jack Baymore and Wild fire willy, also plenty of bands from England, Jack Rabbit Slim, The Shureshots etc.
