   About CAN(d/t)A
CAN(d/t)A - [can(rate)a] - a texas collective/movement or a too loose federation on the themes of various concepts of art, music, ideas & the like. also known as: cata aria thema fermata orchestra & choir.

generally loves: creating/destroying reality/music/art...as well as: dominoes - freedom - hi 5s - mathematics (new & old) - physics - politics - silence - solstice (winter & summer) - sounds - sunrises & sunsets of texas - the great republic of texas.

our bones were like glass when crushed by the heavy sounds of bricks falling in the near distance. the sun stuck to us: you & i at the end of time; the 10/20 split, west texas desert as all the slight differences between light & darkness multiply. its all we can do to close our eyes and rest. the heat builds in our tired lungs. the loss of hope versus the gain of depth. our arms hold symbols, your flesh glistens, the endless texas noise finally relaxes, attempting to equal out in the beauty that is you. remember how it felt to be alive or how we tried so hard to? all of heaven fell silent, this earth - a flash froze paradise and then time began, again.

the great ornette coleman in 1958: the pattern for a tune, for instance, will be forgotten and the tune itself will be the pattern.

most of our songs are 20 minutes plus & wont fit here.

breathe deep, dear friend! breathe deep.

A Notice to all interested Areas

We are releasing a
Noise/Experimental comp CD hopefully sometime in February, which is
really general and open to anyone who wants to get involved. We would
hope to get submissions from any (areacode)noise or otherwise noise/
experimental artists who would be interested in being on a noise comp.

Aside from looking for musical submissions, we are interested in
receiving non-musical audio for possible inclusion on the comp
including but not limited to personal tape memos, unedited field
recordings or video sound, bad takes and cutouts, and utility recordings.

you can send us your cdr's, tapes, reel-to-reel, minidisc, zip-disks,
commodore data-tapes, rom chips, vinyl test-pressings, 8, 5.25, or 3.5
inch floppy disks, or any other analog or digital pcm or otherwise
uncompressed sound formats to:

703Noise
c/o Carl Sagan
P.O. Box 2623
Fairfax, VA 22031

or send them to us online. However, we would like only uncompressed
or losslessly compressed sound formats, no mp3's or etc. Feel welcome
to propose any questions or suggestions on here on myspace
any of our other forums.

Thanks!
Everyone @ 703noise

Thank you for adding me. It's a great place for me to stop by sometimes and listen to your tracks. So refreshing after work on my dark drones.. ;)
Besides, mood of your music reminds me old, good CAN, and Krautrock in general. Good job!
