Solo project of Xathagorra Mlandroth after having stopped with his previous Doom project Hierophant. Much like his previous project, Catacombs delivers ultra heavy and gut-crushing death/doom edging towards Funeral Doom. Heavier than most other underground bands, with a very nihilistic sound, slow plodding drums and rumbling guitars.
