Catacoustic UK promotes live music and encourages people to get up and 'have a go'. Some of the musicians at Catacoustic events are established, some are seasoned rock 'n' rollers, but Catacoustic is also about encouraging young up and coming talent. So whether you've performed around the world or never played in public before you will be welcome.
Catacoustic UK was created and is managed by Tony Elliott. Tony has been involved in the Liverpool music scene for a while now, in the 80's & 90's he was in the 16 Tambourines and The Tambourines and now has a creative enterprise company (Catapult Enterprises) promoting music and art in Merseyside. This includes 'Catacoustic UK' - Acoustic Events.
Catacoustic events attract major Merseyside talent, mostly unsigned. After being constantly impressed at the high standard of artists that turn up, Tony produced a compilation CD of the best acts to provide a platform for their music. The CD is called 'Catacoustic Overtones'.
