Catalina is a model, singer and songwriter as well as a former Miss Universe delegate.
Born in the heart of downtown Toronto, Catalina grew up in North York and went to college at the University of Waterloo, majoring in Political Science in the Arts and Business Program. She began her music career, singing at the age of 3 in school choirs and church choirs. She later took on private vocal lessons leading into writing her own songs.
Along with her musical abilities, Catalina also has a strong background in dance and gymnastics which she also started at the age of 3. Her background in dance includes: street jazz, jazz, modern, tap, ballet, salsa and belly-dancing.
With a strong passion for working with people and for learning different languages, speaking English, French, Spanish, Cantonese and a little bit of German and Japanese, doors eventually opened up for her into the modeling and acting industry. Catalina has worked with some of LA's top casting directors and some of Europe's finest designers.
Catalina is currently working on her music, the first album will be called Eternally. It is an album about love, hope, faith, romance and believing in ourselves. The genre of the music on this album will be a mix of pop/r&b/dance/latin. A little something for everyone. Eternally will be the artist's first full-length solo.
