The Catalyst- Music, Piercing, & Gifts Co. - The shop opened in December 02' & is run by Shannon (Epler) Leigha. We are located at 1902 Main St. in downtown Vancouver Washington & can be reached at (360)735-9310. Shop hours: Mon-Sat 11am-7pm, Closed Sunday. Piercing appointments are encouraged, but not required. All piercings are performed in a scrupulously clean and private environment with implant grade quality jewelry.
When you visit the shop, Shannon is one of the body piercers & has been poking holes in people and hanging shiny things in them since 97'. She adores body jewelry & takes pride in providing a large selection of high quality jewelry for Catalyst customers. Shannon has received professional training through the Fakir Intensives basic & advanced piercing courses as well as the Body Adornments school. She was trained in branding through the Fakir school in the spring of 04' and can give you a decorative scar using strike brands, electro-cautery scalpel, or direct fire. She also completed her reiki training in the spring of 06' and offers sessions outside store hours. Shannon is attending school full time and is in the shop sporadically, but is available for piercing most weekends and by appointment. Rachel is our other body piercer. She completed training at the Fakir school in April of 07' and apprenticed under Shannon for over a year and half. She is experienced with most piercings and can help with any of your jewelry or aftercare questions. Rachel is currently the primary piercer at the shop. She can also be found in the 2nd position of the shop's friend section.
Alyssa, Katie, and Jordan are all valued additions to the Catalyst clan. They are our counter girls/ secretaries extraordinaire. Although they are not a piercers, they can help you with most of your piercing and aftercare questions. If not, they will always do their best to find the answer for you. Feel free to stop by and say hello to them or find them in the third, fouth and fifth spots of our friends section.
