What do we sing about?
We sing mostly about what we feel inside, about the things, the events and the people that make us feel one way or another. We sing about the moon, the sky, the starts, the different sun….and sometimes about our girlfriends’ boobies.
What do we watch?
Porn, football(soccer) and soppy teenage movies. Lesbians, Girls Gone Wild, The Barely Legal Series. City TV, Arsenal, Manchester United and CSKA. A lot of cartoons and cycling. Free6.com
What do we eat?
Cakes,…or what we don’t eat?…We don’t eat meat! We try to eat more fruits and vegetables. We are growing really big cucumbers here. Wanna try some? 50/50

Where do we go?
In different striptease bars, It’s really nice that there are more and more of them out here in Sofia lately. In “The Park” - this is our second home, “The End Of The Universe” nightclub, pubs with live music. In the summer we go to drink together with Bohata and Vasilenka in front of the rehearsel studio.
What does inspire us?
Travis Barker. Many things can inspire us. Our own feelings, the feelings of other people that we know, very often - movies, books and “unique blond chicks” . Nikul gets his inspiration from the sun. The music that we listen to, sometimes we get inspired by our old songs, that we haven’t played for a long time and sometimes we get inspired when we see ourselves naked in the mirror(especially when we are drunk). What The Fuck Is Catalyst?!
Like every band Catalyst has a story too, but not the typical one, cause we're not just another punk rock band out there. As NOFX sing in one of their songs "there's a million assholes with ten million guitars"!
Well maybe we really have guitars but we are not assholes. hmm maybe we are. We are influenced by bands such as NOFX, Millencolin, Blink 182, Good Riddance, Strung Out, Rise Against and many more. We believe that every band should try to hand down a message to the people via its music. So Catalyst is not just punk rock, it's a complex mix of lyrics and music in which we try to affect people's point of view, to make them feel things in a completely new way. We try to be a 'catalyst' to people's emotions, feelings and thoughts.
Cause our band is based not just on a people who play music together just for fame and girls. First of all we are a bunch of friends from highschool and after that naturally comes the band and the fun ofcourse. We stand for each other, for the things we believe in and the people we love. And what about you? What do you believe in?
How The Fuck Everything Started?!
January 2004 – Shemet (ex-Breakaway and Nedelia), Lubomir and Peter (Endevour Skateboards) start trying to play fast and melodic punk-rock
Sometime in 2004 – Stanko “The Prince” meets the guys with Joro. It isn’t long before he states he plays guitar and comes to be the new guitar player of the band. Meanwhile Peter leaves.
A little bit later the same year – “The Wonder Boy of Bulgarian Blues” – Nikul (Lubo’s and Shemet’s ex-classmate and former guitar player of Breakaway (SYC)) joins his friends.
2004(two weeks later) – Peter doesn’t have neither a job nor a girlfriend and comes back in the band as a lead singer, hoping that in this way he will at least find the girl of his dreams! During this period the band finishes its first 4 songs and decides to go under the name of “Ice Burn”.
The summer of 2004 – A new galaxy was born! CATALYST! – here comes the new name of the band. The idea comes from “The Prince” of MySpace - Stanko. He is the official Catalyst mascot. It’s believed that if someone touches his right shoe’s top 67 times will find a blond girl with big …blue eyes. What were talking about?!?!? Oh the name…well it remains the same up to date.
September 2004 – Joro leaves the country and goes to study in Tampa Bay, Florida. A month later, Peter finally finds a new girlfriend, buys a car and decides to leave the band once again because the lack of motivation. The band goes on as a trio, not an alkaline one of course, and Lubomir and Nikul start trying to sing and play at the same time.
24th and 25th April 2005 – The first two shows. Catalyst is the only band that hits the stage in club “OiShipka” (we are very fucking happy that this venue doesn’t exist anymore) in two consequent nights.
June 2005 – Joro comes back in Bulgaria for the summer holiday and plays again with the guys. When he leaves for the USA, it’s quite clear that it’s about time for Catalyst to find another guitarist.
October 2005 – Bobi joins the band. He comes out to be the perfect guy for Catalyst. He needs two weeks to learn 13 songs, to work out new guitars of his own and to play live with the band.
May 2006 – Catalyst played @ "Collision Course Fest" in, Rousse, with Manical Pictures, Crowfish and Spot and @ “The meeting of the styles” fest in Varna
December 2006 – Catalyst played @ Hardcore X-mass fest
May 2007 – Right now Catalyst are going in the studio for the recording of three songs which will be freely floating around the net.
June 2007 – Catalyst supporting KPD-O’s new album release party
July 2007 – Catalyst playing with Mise*En*Scene – punkrockers from Belgium
August 2007 – Catalyst playing with Tragic Vision (Germany)
September 2007 – Catalyst @ “Exit Extreme” festival – Kazichene, with Crowfish and La Muchedumbre
October 2007 – Catalyst playing for the first time in PLOVDIV!!! With Crowfish
December 2007 – Catalyst supporting A-MORAL’s album release party
December 2007 – Catalyst @ “Hardcore X-mas” fest
January 2008 – Catalyst supporting Maniacal Pictures’ new album release
25-28 January – Catalyst & Suave Gap (Greece) Bulgarian - Greece Tour. We played in 4 cities – Sofia, Plovdiv, Kavala & Larissa and that were our first gigs outside Bulgaria

Преди няколко години във вече добилия статут на легендарен клуб "О!Шипка" свири една френска ска/пънк група. Тогава все още такива концерти бяха абсолютна рядкост, клубът се претъпка, а бандата беше P.O. Box. Те все още продължават да са си P.O. Box, но вече още по-добри и много, много по-популярни. От тогава успяха да подпишат договор с един от най-големите ска лейбъли в света - Long Beach и да изкарат още един албум. Междувременно за пореден път обиколиха цяла Европа, както и покориха още два континента. Стига толкова уводни думи, защото P.O. Box се завръщат в България на 14-ти юли. Мястото ще е клуб "Backstage", а от вас зависи дали концертът ще наподобява предишния като атмосфера и дали изобщо тази практика ще продължи да съществува.
Съвсем скоро стана ясно, че с французите P.O. Box отново ще свирят La Muchedumbre. Голямата новина обаче е, че ексклузивно с тях ще се появи и оригиналният им фронтмен – Чефо Машината, с който записаха първия си албум и който се връща за кратко от Перу. Със сигурност много от вас го свързват и с варненската хардкор група Frontpoint и рага проекта му със станала тотален хит „Я надуй, дядо, кавала” - http://vbox7.com/play:ace8c6ee/. La Muchedumbre пък направиха първо европейско турне и свириха в България с Mark Foggo’s Skaster, The Toasters, Artery, Jaya The Cat и още много други, както и на фестивала Spirit of Burgas. Самите P.O. Box се кефят адски много на La Muchedumbre и не го крият, като по време на предното им гостуване в „О!Шипка” дори направиха техен кавър. Този път
