About Cat and Mouse

Music defines who we are
and I am just to fond of dealings of the heart I'm afraid.
So I write these songs
on little scraps of paper and notebooks I've found.
It seems everyone just wants
to be a singer/songwriter these days but I've realized.
That more tension is necessary
and I find it in the form of amplified friendships.
So we have ventured out
into the sun, to wear our tattered hearts upon our sleeves.
To show that this world
is nothing more than a game of cat and mouse.
