Bios:
Marinda, lead singer and songwriter, and proud mom of 10 rescued cats and 2 rescued dogs, has been performing since the age of 5, when she started doing commercials in NYC. She began singing at the age of 7. Music has remained a very important part of Mar's life and purpose since then. Mar has an incredible voice and range, usually with predominantly angelic soprano tones and pitches but is sometimes lower and quite strong. Mary played the role of "Annie" in the First National Touring Company of Martin Charnin's original, award-winning production, "ANNIE" and also played the little vampiric, "Kathy" in Maurice Syndak's original, "REALLY ROSIE" with Tisha Campbell from the sitcom, "MARTIN". One of Mary's original songs from her Screwtape's Roast album, "Karma" was chosen as the opening credit song in an upcoming film, "Tinseltown" produced by Kenneth DelVecchio and starring favorites from HBO's, "OZ" and the movie, "Goodfellas" You can check out Mar's original music project at www.myspace.com/marindascastle. She is now a performance director for "Public Eye: Artists for Animals" (www.phillypubliceye.org), a non-profit organization for animals. If you get a chance, check out the site and join them for one of their events. They are always very entertaining and fun. . ***************

"Of all the creatures, man is the most detestable. Of the entire brood, he's the one that possesses malice. He is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain. The fact that man knows right from wrong proves his intellectual superiority to the other creatures; but the fact that he can do wrong proves his moral inferiority to any creature that cannot."
