We Are A Portsmouth Based Band. The Name Came From Mr Everetts Head (Yes He Does Think Sometimes!) Todd And Dan Started Jamming Together Around Dec 05 - Jan 06, After Writing Some Legendary Songs, They Wanted A Drummer. Luckly For Them, Zak Was In Todds Class At College..... So...They Invited Him Round, They Laughed A Lot, Found Out He Couldn't Cook (Ask Todd About The Fried Egg) Then Recruited Him. They Then Discovered He Was Actually Alright At The Drums. They Liked This Line Up - But The Search Wasnt Over Yet! A Bass Player Was Needed! The First Option Was Joe From Splendid Eddie, But The Band Decided Against This. Then Sam Came To Their Attention. Catch Me A Comet Was Formed. The Date. Around June 06.
Recording. In The Month Of August We Wanted To Record An EP So Everyone Could Hear Our Music. Joe From Splendid Eddie Was Recruited As The Engineer, Mixer And Producer! After An Intense Week In 'Shack Studios' It Was Done! Joe Took It Home, Mixed It, And The Confidence He Gained From This Experience Almost Ruined His Life! As He Keeps Reminding Us! It Was Mastered At JTM Studios.
First Gig! Splendid Eddie Gave CMAC Our First Chance To Play A Gig! What Lovely People. We Enjoyed It A Lot. From It We Have Obtained A Couple Of Other Gigs! Look Under This Box To See!
The EP Arrived On The 29th September 2006. Its For Sale... The RRP is £9.99 But If You See A Member Of CMAC It Has Been Said That Will Sell It For A Mere £4! I Suggest Every One Go Buy One! (Or The Very Little We Have Left!)
Along Our Journey, We Have Supported Some Big Bands, Wheatus, Not Advised, Jaimison, Not Your Hero To Name A Few And Befriended Some Quality Bands Along The Way Such As Splendid Eddie, Leptany, Bigtopp, You Are A Beautiful Robot And So On.
