After much deliberation and debate within our organization and discussion with others, Paranormal Task Force has come to the conclusion that our goals which include being a "family friendly" organization is in conflict with our use of the MySpace network for socialization and promotion.
Those of us involved in the "paranormal" have to remember that the paranormal attracts many "minors" into such Networks which are not family friendly and tainted with adult and/or "R" rated content with dating ads, user graphics, language and other things we have no control over.
We do not want to attract children "Paranormal Enthusiast" and "fans" of such shows into realms where deviants and/or unhealthy content may be around every corner and just a "click" or less away. At the same time there are many adults, who because of moral ethics, are also very offended by such massive social networks as well which includes our clients, associates and members of our own organization as well.
Even within the paranormal community itself, what do pictures of half naked people, profane language or worse have to do with the advancement and professionalism of our field? Where is the line with promoting or socializing a paranormal or other organization vs. family values and morals? It is easy to say "ignore" such or that parents should monitor their children, etc. However, when it comes down to it, using such a medium for promotion is also supportive of such as well.
So in the very near future, as an organization, we will be minimizing our use of MySpace until we can completely phase out our use of it. So if you start seeing our content on our MySpace pages disappearing and being replaced with statements reflecting our organization as being "family friendly" and links where people can find our content, etc., do not be surprised.
We will shift our use of a social network to "I Am Haunted" at www.iamhaunted.com as they do their best to maintain a family friendly location on the internet and a network focused upon issues related to the paranormal. We also have our website at WWW.CATCHMYGHOST.COM which we completely control and keep "family friendly" as well.
As a "family friendly" organization we can not continue to be supporting that which can be a negative reflection upon our organization, associates, clients, fans or members. I hope that everyone can understand and support the decision we have made.

MISSOURI PARANORMAL RESEARCH serves its clients in three ways. First, we address the client's needs, then
we support the advancement of our field through the collection of evidence and data for further study, and last, try to address the requests of the paranormal.
Through consultation and other methods, we have found that proper investigative techniques, combined with the proper analysis can result in a mutual and peaceful co-existence between the human client(s) and their paranormal inhabitant(s).
When this is not achievable, we discuss with the client the wide range of possible solutions to meet their needs
utilizing intelligent analysis, research and "proper presentation". The client is the one who makes the ultimate decision concerning which solution is best for them. MPR staff will not abandon you and vow to stay with you until a resolution to your issue is achieved.
Most importantly, we can help you. Often a full nvestigation is not necessary; sometimes an interview and some simple research can provide you with an explainable cause or simple solution to your predicament.
All of our investigations are done at no cost to you. We understand your fears and needs as most of the MPR

At MISSOURI PARANORMAL
RESEARCH we have developed new philosophies and concepts concerning investigations, research and other issues which are overlooked or ignored by the general paranormal community.
We will be sharing these through a series of articles, guides and other forms of presentations on this website
and throughout the paranormal community.
Separate from our private investigation, We have also initiated a system of open field ivestigations involving better known public hauntings, urban legends,
and other not so well known places which will provide extensive opportunities for new and even experienced investigators to receive field training and further
practice with their techniques and equipment. This allows members on our Open Forum to participate and gain experience vital to both future clients and the paranormal
field alike.
This also allows us to dedicate time to focus on our collection of potential data and evidence to share with the paranormal community for further analysis.

welcomes skeptics and non-believers alike. They are important to the advancement of our field. Who better than a skeptic to offer possible explanations for anomalies captured on film and audio or for other potential collected evidence and data?
MISSOURI PARANORMAL RESEARCH appreciates and values input from this other side of the fence. In order to conduct proper analysis and validation of evidence,the researcher or investigator first has to rule out all "explainable" causes through recreation attempts or other methods. The skeptic or non-believer many times is the most important factor in this process...

MPR is also in the already released Exspiro Productions Documentary "The Other Side" available on DVD. MPR/PTF has also filmed for inclusion in the Spooked Television Releasing production "The Possessed" which will be released on DVD in October of 2008 and air or the Sci-Fi Network sometime after.
