CatchTen comes from Luke 5:10 where Jesus, after telling Simon Peter and his companions to cast their nets in the deep after a night of unproductive fishing, says, "...Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men." The men listened to Jesus and caught so many fish their nets began to break. Peter, along with James and John, were astonished. In verse 11, we read that they left everything; their catch, their boats, everything, and followed Jesus. Jesus has called us as Christians to leave everything and follow Him! We, like the first disciples, are called to be fishers of men, to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
The band's ultimate purpose is draw listeners in to a closer relationship with Christ through uplifting lyrics, a positive message, and an interactive worship experience.
