Paranormal spooky things, I like dead people, they can be annoying at times but mostly they just seem to hang out.
I collect tarot decks, books on all things magical, and text on the paranormal.
You are The High Priestess
Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.
The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.
Bon Jovi,The Mockers, Hello Sailor, Th'dudes, Rolling Stones, Queen, Eric Clapton, Bowie, Aerosmith, Matchbox twenty, Meridian Smith, Alice Cooper, Greenday, Shania Twain, the Who, The Hollies, Dead Stoned Babies, Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Highwaymen, Talking Heads, Graham Parker, Metallica, Eminem, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Elvis...lots of stuff really... I guess I am eclectic when it comes to music. I have George Jones-Corvette song, stuck in my head on a regular basis!
A recent project brought with it a need for Gary Moore's "Over the hills and far away." and Plain White T's "Hey there Delilah."
Currently I'm back on a Rolling Stones kick, much to the horror of our neighbors. :) There is something fabulous about having the stereo set to stun.. when listening to the Rolling Stones while writing. -- not to mention it drowns out my dreadful singing! Okay that was last year, this year my writing is accompanied by Bon Jovi - most especially the Lost Highway album. I'm guessing I must play it a lot as our three-year-old is a huge fan. lol
Movies
I like action movies, especially when they're not supposed to be funny... they are usually the funniest. :)
Of course old Peter Jackson movies rank highly with me (being a kiwi an' all), if it weren't for him I wouldn't know how to kill a zombie.
Sometimes, I like to be scared, but not so much grossed out, psycho thrillers more than blood and guts... I can write gore but I don't like watching it, I think it's an age thing, I grew out of the gore phase.
I firmly believe Sean Connery was the best Bond ever.
I've even been known to watch the occasional chick flick.. but let's not spread that around.
Television
NCIS, Criminal Minds, Supernatural.
Books
Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, The worst-case survival handbooks, Terrorism Explained by Clive Williams, Ghost Strasse by Simon Burnett, anything by Jeffrey Deaver-his mind is terrifying and he's a really lovely man!...The Rain series by Barry Eisler.
Situation Sabotage by Graeme Johns (You'll never eat packet biscuits again!)
I grew up reading boys stories because they were more exciting than girls stories. I loved reading war comics (Battle and Commando), and Ian Fleming's James Bond novels. Willard Price was my one of my favorite authors as a kid, I adored Hal and Roger Hunt and their many adventures.
I loved when my brother got new books!!!
Heroes
Anyone who has the guts to follow a dream! yes thats corny but too many people never try! No good getting to 94 and saying "If only..."
About me: I'm a published writer or an author if you prefer. (or smartass, that works too)

My crime thriller novel, killerbyte, is available as an e-book from mobipocket and on Amazon as a kindle book.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
killerbyte:
A killer with a gift for inventive and macabre deaths...
An FBI Agent with an equally unusual imagination and sense of humor...
With a new and exciting voice, Cat Connor introduces Ellie Conway, an FBI Agent who challenges the rules with her attitude, sense of the ridiculous and how she tackles a serial murderer with a difference: a murderer connected with Ellie’s internet poetry chat room.
With a litter of bodies ‘presented’ in unexpected places, Killerbyte is a provocatively bizarre and entertaining dance. Ellie, with the aid of Mac Connelly, must track down a seemingly motiveless and ghost-like murderer, who defies detection. After her own mother is dispatched by this slaughterer, Ellie fears for the lives of everyone close: her lover Mac, her father, her boss Special Agent Caine Grafton, and chat room colleagues. Reluctantly she begins to suspect her boss, colleagues and, her brother Aidan.
A chance remark provides a connection between past hurts and present pain.

I'm here on the U.S. East Coast. If you're ever in the area, let me know. What woud be neat about us doing a joint author event we both wrote thrillers involving the Internet: Tonight, one night only, meet the authors of "Killerbyte" and "The .40 Caliber Mouse!"
Thanks, Cat! It's too bad we don't live in the same area. We could do a joint author event! You can see what I'm up to by logging onto http://www.mazzpress.com
