The last Tristaine novel, Queens of Tristaine, was awarded one of the Golden Crown Literary Society's "Goldies" for best speculative fiction of 2007. This is a very cool honor. I appreciate and thank GCLS for the nod, and for all their hard work nurturing lesbian writers.
I'm pleased to be one of the recipients of the Alice B Readers' Choice Awards for 2008. As this award recognizes a writer's body of work, my thanks to my editors at Bold Strokes Books -- Cindy Cresap, Shelley Thrasher, and J.B. Greystone -- for helping me shape every work this body has so far produced.
The fourth novel in the Tristaine series marks the end of these Amazon tales for now. People have been great about expressing enthusiasm for future Tristaine books, and that remains a possibility, but I'd like to play with some new ideas for a while.
