We've got a tremendous evening planned. The doors open at 8 and we aim to start at about 8.30 with a comedy night of featuring Mark Watson as our guest of honour. Then around 10.30/11 it'll turn into a jolly old dancing session - with a slight twist!
This is the important bit. You are warmly invited to come along in your finest recycled outfit. If you're feeling creative, this means you can make some clothes out of anything you choose; old jiffy bags, sweet wrappers, newspapers and magazines, balloons, drink cans, or even bits of wire. If you're not so sure about that, well you can attend resplendent in all your charity shop finery. The important thing is to make your outfit as green as possible. Not literally green though. Well... alright then, if you're really stuck.
If you want some inspiration, please pop along to Wear Me, I Used To Be Something Else, which is run by my friend Clare. And don't forget, there will be prizes for the most environmentally concious costume, and for the best design.
A list of the acts we have performing and the DJs can be found on the right hand side of this page. If you have any requests for music to be played on the night, send us an email - catedisco@gmail.com - or comment on the request post above.
Look forward to seeing you all there. Please feel free to pass this page on to any of your friends; the more the merrier!
Here's our flyer:
I won't post this on all your comments pages, because that can get somewhat irritating for everyone. But I can post it here, on my own page, and you can download it and send it to whoever you like. Please feel free - the lazy environmentally friendly age of flyering is upon us.
