ELECTRIC CARS
Low cost and energy efficient owner built housing design and construction including STRAWBALE, Mud Brick, raw Log Cabins and other recycled material systems. Languages interest me, I did study French and Italian many years ago, but never pursued it, although I do enjoy seeing foreign language films sometimes. I'd be lost without the subtitles but I do at least catch some of the words.
Music
Usually the "softer side" of pop. Bits and pieces from all over. Nothing toooo heavy metal-ish. Some AQUA, some ABBA, some S CLUB 7, CAROL KING and GERRY GOFFIN's early stuff, even non-English stuff I can't understand is sometimes lovely to listen to. I've heard beautifil stuff in Japanese and Gaillic
Movies
Science Fiction and Fantasy. Some other Vampire stuff, occasionally a good car-chase or shoot-out type but there's a lot of chaff out there and not much wheat. I quite like Japanese Anime.... but only small doses at a time. I did like the Haibane Renmei mini-series

Hiya, I'm 40-something, and I live alone with roaming pet poultry and an ever increasing number of rusting old junker type cars in the "Mediterranean" semi-arid-climate wheatbelt farmlands area of Western Australia. I share this house with about 1,000 books, 3,000 videotapes and a small but ever increasing quantity of DVDs and a number of computers in various states of being partly built or dis-assembled.
I's New Zealand born and bred but as a longtime Aussie resident, I live alone in the middle of nowhere in the outer farmlands of Western Australia, not quite The Outback as such, but gettin' close. The climate here is semi-arid Mediterranean. Winters are just cool enough to allow European fruits like apples and plums to set fruit, but mild enough for most subtropical fruits like Oranges and Guavas too.
