The Cathouse Drifters (link to band website)
are a four piece band that focus on traditional 40's and 50's era country western music with influences that are wide ranging within the country genre. From the honky tonk and hillbilly sounds of Hank Williams to the Bakersfield twang of Buck Owens, the Cathouse Drifters are well schooled in the area of traditional country music as reflected in their live shows which cover in addition, artists such as Ernest Tubb, Faron Young, Carl Smith, Gene O'Quin, Ray Price, Bob Wills, Johnny Horton, Johnny Cash, Webb Pierce, Hank Thompson and Jack Guthrie.
