I'm Keena Mapanao from the San Diego area--well, i came across your covers on Youtube and im wondering if you would be interested in performing at a Benefit concert that we're holding at Poway on January 9th, 2010. The proceeds will then go to the Typhoon Victims in Philippines, the association is called Gawad Kalinga which provides shelter and food for those in the need of it. I'm still in the process of looking for more performers and im hoping you would be down for it.

hi cathy! i love your music so much and i thank you even more for opening this because most likely you get hundreds of messages and comments each day. well im an 8th grader right now and in my language arts class we're doing a project. you can either choose art expert project, oral history, personal narrative, or music expert(the one i chose) this project includes interviewing 2 musicians and taking notes of their biographies if they have one. i decided to choose you and albert posis to interview because you guys are one of my favorite youtube singers and i would love for you to answer some of my interview questions for my project, if you want! i will be presenting this project to my class, and i think it'll be really unique because most kids aren't interviewing famous people, and i'd want to be one of the few who do! so here are the questions: What age did you become interested in music? What kind of music inspired you to become a musician? What made you interested in music? What kind of music do you listen to? How does music express your feelings and emotions? Do you have an idol that you look up to? What's your goal in life? Does it include music? Do you want to stay a musician all your life? What instruments did you start off with? Did you take any classes or were you self-taught? How does it feel being a famous musician, what happens when you're in public? please and thank you! i know youve probably answered some of these questions, but i need this to be a real interview so if you dont mind answering them again, i'd appreciate it!
