Eliza Carthy, Jon Boden, Anna Tabbush, Seth Lakeman, Jess Arrowsmith (Hekety/Crucible), Mat Green (Woodpecker band), Nancy Kerr, The Gloworms, Dr. Faustus, Copper family, Spiers and Boden, Hoven Droven, June Tabor, Maddy Prior, La Bottine Souriante... so many more I can't even think of them!
I play fiddle and sing, and call for lots of ceilidhs with amazing ceilidh bands like The Gloworms and Faustus. Something else cool that I do (which was never really planned but has just kind of evolved) seems to be leading amazing singing workshops which make people feel really good about themselves. And I'm a morris dancer :)
If I've managed to work out how to use the music thing properly there might be a selection of songs / tunes to listen to - Yonder Come Day was recorded live at a workshop at Towersey Festival (and is available on my Vocal Workshop album - just a little plug there ;), Once I had A Sweetheart is a lovely traditional song I learnt from my friend's mum, Little Albert and George's Jig are two tunes that I wrote for my friends who had babies, and Geordie was recorded with some mates round someone's house on a Sunday afternoon, as part of a wedding present for my dad and stepmum. I haven't got anything of me calling, as that doesn't really work very well in audio ;)
I'm about to start a new project with the georgeous Katie Maddocks (have a look, she's in my friends) which I'm very excited about, so watch this space :) I'm also on the look out for other musicians of the folk persuasion to make lovely music with, so if you're interested please drop me a message or something.
One of these days I'm going to stop being a hermit and start going to the Half Moon session again...

Well, as much as we enjoy the ceilidhs (any chance to completely make things up as you go along has to be taken) we're like a proper concert act, y'know...
Ah, the joys of cute cuddly things! They never stop being cute - mine make me laugh every day!
Unfortunately I can't get to Towersey this year :-( got too many other gigs and things. Definitely see you soon though. Apparently week 4 was not a patch on week 3. YAY!
ahhh..great music Cat! We have arrived! We've been running around the UK, everyone is plying us with ridiculous amounts of food and drink. But now we are in Edinburgh! We play the Speigeltent the 7th to the 11th at 7pm! ...then more of Scotland.
Hey Cat - it was great to meet you at Chippenham. I have some incredibly brief passages of digi-footage of yr excellent calling for the excellent CCB. But - du-uuh - I thought my camera was not working so I kept switching it off. What a chump!
