About me:
Catseye provides an exciting range of workshops and new writing events delivered by professional writers for people of all ages in scriptwriting, short story writing, poetry writing & slam, storytelling, physical theatre, Japanese kabuki theatre and MCing.

Open Access Workshops

– Want some feedback on your writing or would like to be part of a writing community? We offer a monthly writing workshop for anyone who writes. Workshops will be in function rooms around Stoke Newington and Hackney.Contact catseyenewwriting@gmail.com for more info.

Open Mic Nights

– We are setting up regular open mic nights for any performers to participate in. Come along whether you’re a seasoned Slam poet looking for a new venue on the circuit or have a few songs you’ve never performed and want an experience of live performance.

We want to form a community of writers to come to monthly workshops and operate open mic and performance events.

We will operate as a collective and will use the first workshop to find out how our writers want the workshops to run.

There will also be opportunities to lead workshops and suggest future topics and focus areas.

The STATIC RAIN FANS space	Mar 29 2009 5:17 PM Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience. Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act.
