C.A.T. TRACKS RECORDING STUDIO (Previously Astra Studio) is owned & operated by Charles Eichelberger and Terry Westbrook. Charles and Terry (hence C.A.T.) have many years experience between the two of them.
The 'C' in C.A.T. is Charles Eichelberger. Charles has been engineering since the late 70's, when out in Los Angeles, Ca. he enrolled in the engineering class at the R.I.A.A. (The Recording Industry Association of America - see http://www.riaa.com/ ). After graduating, he worked in several major studios in the L.A. area and worked in a band that played the Whiskey-A-Go-Go and The Roxy nightclubs among numerous others. But after many long nights in the clubs and laborious days in the studio without seeing the light of day, he got disillusioned and homesick for Texas family and friends. So, he came back to try the big fish in the small pond thing for a while, and ya know...it must have worked because he's never looked back! Going to work for future lifetime friend Mr. Bob Swearingen, he found a home at Cedar Ridge Recording Studio. Working with studio musicians from the Muscle Shoals area living in Houston at the time turned out to be just what the musical doctor ordered. Charlie's guitar playing and song conceptualization bloomed along with his production skills! Terry of C.A.T. TRACK says: "I've been an engineer/producer for some years now, and it's just SUCH a pleasure to work with someone who 'gets it' on the level that Charles does...he must have been born on top of a mixing board, and I hear he practically sleeps with his guitar!!"
This brings us to the 'T' in C.A.T...that would be Terry Westbrook. Terry started learning the drums at about age 4 and had his first paying gigs by age 7 1/2. He played on weekends until graduating high school in 1977. The following year he landed the job as house drummer for Gilley's Club & Recording Studio, holding that job for 11 years. It was during this period of time that he cut his musical teeth in the studio on the inside of the drum booth at Gilley's Studio as well as most of the other studios in town including Cedar Ridge Studio where he first met Charles. (Funnily enough, neither one remembered the other until meeting back up thirty years later through former studio owner Keith McCoy.) In 1989, upon Gilley's Club closing down, Terry went to work at Limelight Recording Studio as staff recording engineer, producer & studio musician. For the next 9 years he honed his engineering and production skills in the studio behind the board as well as playing drums on sessions and booking recording dates gaining a well-rounded knowledge of the studio business.
Together, Charles and Terry make a dream team in the studio that's hard to beat! As a matter of a fact, it's hard to think of two folks teaming up in the recording industry on this level with more time, knowledge and longevity than these two. You owe it to yourself and your next project to check into the C.A.T. TRACKS 'dream team'!!

”The gift of listening: Try giving this to someone in need. And you must really listen. No interrupting, no daydreaming, no planning your responses. Just listen.
The gift of signs of affection: Be generous with your hugs, kisses and gentle squeezes of the hand. Let these tiny actions demonstrate the love inside of you.
The gift of a note: It can be as simple as "I Love You" or as creative as a sonnet. Put your notes where they will surprise your loved one.
The gift of laughter: Just cut out a cartoon, save a clever article. Your gift will say, "I love to laugh with you."
The gift of compliment: A simple "You look good in blue" or "Good supper" can be of greatest value to those who may feel they are being taken for granted.
The gift of a favor: Help with the dishes, run an errand, etc..... do it willingly.
The gift of leaving alone: There are times in our lives when we want nothing better than to be left alone. Become more sensitive to those times and give solitude.
The gift of a cheerful disposition: Try to be cheerful around those you love.
The gift of a game: Offer to play your loved one's favorite game. Even if you lose, you'll be a winner.
The gift of prayer: Pray for your loved ones and let them know you pray for them.

"Brilliant" - John Richards, John in the Morning, KEXP 90.3 FM Seattle
"9 stars out of 10! Kanzler writes beautifully understated tunes that straddle almost every genre of American roots music. His vocals compliment the songs beautifully, sounding like a cross between a more grizzled Ryan Adams and Johnny Hickman. "Black Top Road" is an essential album...a classic from the Alaskan wilderness." - Dan Wilkinson, AmericanaUK
I also have another site, my official site, http://www.mgmrecordsnashville.com, it is currently down though, the reps are refurbishing it I think.
Now a little something for your fans here. Terry and I have recorded together many times over the years and even did a few shows together. I can honestly say aside from our obvious friendship, he is one of the better producers I have had the blessing to work with and I will definately be recording more of my own music with Terry as my producer.
So nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by and please stay in touch! Please listen/view my two Videos and drop me a comment. Both songs were Charted on The Music Row Country Chart recently. My Best always, Tresa Jordan. To hear more songs I co-wrote, visit www.tresajordan.com. If you would like to add me to your friends, tresa@tresajordan.com
