    I will listen to just about anything where music is concerned. I have a very eclectic and wide taste in mysic that runs from early jazz, big band, rockabilly, bluegrass, rock n roll, hair bands, grunge, some country, punk, new age, techno and trance,and even classical. Seriously play anything and I will probably like it. Drive By Truckers, Split Lip Rayfield, Gillian Welch, The Gourds,Blanche, Reverend Horton Heat, Asylum Street Spankers,Ween, Flaming Lips, Mofro, White Ghost Shivers, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Kev Russell, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Lynrd Skynrd, America, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Jimmi Hendrix, Natives Are Restless, Whale, Moses Guest, Cracker, Government Mule, Willie Nelson, Robert Earl Keen Jr., Steve Earle, Chris Isaak, Brian Seltzer Orchestra, Matisyahu, The Weary Boys, Big Smith, Luther Wright and the Wrongs, Hayseed Dixie, South Austin Jug Band,Scott H. Biram, This is by far NOT a comprehensive listing.There are so many others that I am forgetting here but I just can't rack my brain and get ALL of them out. Suffice it to say that I LOVE just about anything music wise.

I like to watch movies that make me THINK and use my brain.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE MSNBC, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, Morning Joe, Discovery Channel, Discovery Health, Science Channel, Comedy Central, I also love watching IFC, and BBC. I probably watch WAY TOO MUCH TV...but at least I'm up on current affairs!!

    These 3 books have CHANGED MY LIFE. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to go from either overweight to mediocre body type to fit and fabulous FAST! These books will teach you how to truly feed your body what it needs to be fabulous, as well as the proper exercise to get in the best shape of your life.

    I have a HUGE library of books, I love to study Natural Health and Holistic Nutrition, as well as Herbalism, Iridology, and Homeopathy. I have a collection of books on Space and World and American History. I also LOVE to collect cookbooks, and books on cooking. I also enjoy reading books about time management, organizing, and home management. I also own one of the largest diet and fitness libraries you will ever see. I recently started to study "green living" and permaculture so I am growing quite a collection of books on that subject as well..One of my most recent reads was Dispatches From The Edge by Anderson Cooper.

    About me:

    My name is Cat I am 33 years old and I live in the great state of Texas. I have 3 little boys and a wonderful husband whom I love more than life itself. I strive every day to be a better wife and mother to my family and proudly wear the title SUPERMOM. I guess you could say I am pretty lucky.

    Bart and I are the proud parents of 3 wonderful boys. Our oldest is 11 and vibrant and healthy in every way. Our twins are 9 years old. One is Autistic, and the other is diagnosed with PDD(Mild Autism), OCD, ADHD, and now Epilepsy. Being a mother of two special needs children takes every ounce of strength inside of me and then some, but I do the absolute best I can. On the outside I am sure our family resembles a small circus, but rest assured our home is full of love and laughter. There is NEVER a dull moment to say the least.

    When I'm not being a Mommy or Wife I am working at the boy's schools. This year was my first year being elected to the Executive Board of the PTO, and I'm also on the Campus Education Improvement Committee. I have enjoyed my work so far and look forward to being an asset to my children's education as they progress through their school years.

    Some of my other hobbies include photography and Photoshop Art. I only wish I had more time to do those things but life is pretty hectic with our family so I don't get to do those things as much as I would like to. Someday though I will take some Photography classes and go Pro.

    When I'm not doing ALL OF THAT, I'm hanging out with my friends or cooking. I'm quite famous for my Gumbo. Just ask anyone who has tried it. Being a coonass girl it comes to me naturally. I also make a mean Jello Shot and throw quite memorable bashes. We have a Crawfish Boil every year on Easter Weekend, and I usually throw an end of the school year party, as well as Birthday parties for Bart and I and the boys. My favorite room in the house is my Kitchen. It's not a DREAM kitchen by any means, but the food that comes out of it is quite heavenly. If there's anything else you wanna know just ASK!!

      Hey, lady, just checkin' in...check out the webbhouseconcerts myspace for a youtube from the latest house concert!! it's time, CAT! time for you and Bart to invite some music to your back yard! Also got Donna Frost in tow and we went to the TX Neuro Rehab and she sang to the kids...they loved it. One young man was pretty withdrawn, sitting by his dad visiting from Alaska! and by the end of the song fest, he was tapping his tow and his arm was around his dad. It was exciting to see!...
