Caught In Motion the dynamic acoustic indie group is also the moniker under which Portland Oregon musician Banah Winn resides. The Project was crafted in 2007 upon the creation of the debut album “On The Edge of a Dream”. CIM self released the album in Nov 2008 and upon its release “Dream” received overwhelmingly positive press. CIM supported its album release through nonstop U.S. touring in 2009.
Through these trials CIM has crafted a unique dynamic sound, writing music that defies conventional songwriting in search of a more honest more personal pop song. Combining poignant melodic sense, jazz harmonic sensibility and obsessive attention to detail CIM strives to reach its audience on a personal level.
In 2010 CIM will continue in its pursuit, with more touring and plans for a new album.
