| General | LisaBeth is also a singer/songwriter and has released 4 independent CD’s. Her brand new record with Maggie Marshall is called THE FIRE TOWER SESSIONS.
It is an assortment of songs ranging from the state of the world to the state of grace and was produced and engineered by Grammy music-maker BIL VORNDICK (RALPH STANLEY, BELA FLECK, BOB DYLAN, DOLLY PARTON, ALISON KRAUSS).
LisaBeth has been motivated to write some songs based on th state of the world, and has performed at several rallys with CINDY SHEEHAN. In 2006, she was invited to perform at a BILL CLINTON rally when he visited Bucks County, PA to help elect Patrick Murphy for Congress.
Of the thought provoking song by LisaBeth entitled, LINE IN THE SAND, Sonny Ochs (sister of Phil Ochs) says: "LINE IN THE SAND is an especially good song. It catches you with its upbeat tempo and catchy melody, then hits you with the power of its words.”
LisaBeth's songs have been heard on radio stations nationwide including NPR’s CARTALK.
She has opened shows for over 60 nationally known acts including Roy Clark, Tom Paxton, Loudon Wainwright III, Patty Larkin, John Gorka, Susan Werner, Martin Sexton, and more.
LisaBeth is a freelance writer and has written for Performing Songwriter magazine, The National Search Dog Foundation, and other national publications. She also works at film festivals including a SUNDANCE (Theater Team Leader), AND THE PHILADELPHIA FILM FESTIVAL (Guest Services).
