Caustic Records is an independent music label based in Vitoria - Gasteiz (Spain), focused principally on the Electro-Industrial music, EBM, Electro Dark, Future Pop, Dark Folk, Neoclassical, Dark ambient, Pop Noir, etc … Definitively in all variants inside the wide parameters of dark music. Caustic Records is created in 1998 by Manix S. (PAIL's frontman) due to the few possibilities to publish this kind of music in Spain and with just one purpose: to edit PAIL's albums. What in a beginning was conceived as springboard of PAIL has turned into the only one Spanish record label dedicated to dark music, with worldwide distribution; Caustic Records is nowadays the most important label in Spanish dark music scene, with worldwide distribution by specialized labels and distributors. Moreover, in all this time, CAUSTIC RECORDS has turned into a very important distributor in Spain, providing music of specialized labels around all the world.

CAUSTIC RECORDS presents "Faith in the void" third album of PAIL, and a truly 90's and modernist Electronic Body Music piece of work. The echoes of big names like FLA, X-Marks the Pedwalk, NUMB, Hocico, Mentallo & The Fixer, Leather Strip, VAC or Skinny Puppy mix with the distinctive and personal style that PAIL has been showing since the beginning of its journey, in 1998. "Faith in the void" is a Molotov cocktail in both structure and content, impregnated with a fighting spirit and very critical with the economic, social, political and religious structures that form the modern society. This work captures the essence of the Electro-Industrial revolution forged on the late 80's and 90's adding modern sounds and production design. Hard-hitting beats, analog bass lines, film sampling, manipulated guitars, aggressive vocals and custom synth sounds. The album was mixed and mastered at "The Green Jacket" studios in Canada by Greg Reely (FLA, Delerium, Skinny Pyppy, Fear Factory, etc). The album also gets released as a hyper-limited edition in wood box with Exclusive T-shirt, Lanyard, Pins and patch.

'ELDAR " Amaterasu Shiroi" (DigiCD)

After the great debut album from ELDAR released through Cold Meat Industry, Caustic Records presents the re-release of two old and sold out albums of this band from Barcelona. All work that appears on this album has been re-recorded and re-mastered, from the demo recordings in 2007/2008, edited by SkullLine in two volumes called "Ama Terasu" and "Solve Et Coagula" currently sold out. They have been re-recorded almost all the instruments and voices that make up the album, also have been changed and added various features and sounds/samples of songs, including inedit songs. The result is an album completely new and different from the first recordings of those years. A must for fans of Triarii, Toroidh, A Challenge of Honour, Stahlwerk 9.

'IBERIAN SPLEEN " dracula / vampire hunters club versions" (DigiCD EP)

Caustic Records presents the club versions of one of the soundtracks from Francis Ford Coppola's film DRACULA (Vampire Hunters) produced and created by Iberian Spleen. Iberian Spleen, after some years of absence, and who reached the top ten of the DAC with the track I..m so Afraid from the album Drama and Base, returns with an original idea, making versions not of songs but of the soundtrack of the film DRACULA, merging classical music with an intelligent, detailed and personal electronic music. These three versions not only recall parts of the original track but they also try to keep the full essence and great composition by the master Wojciech Kilar, that is why the arrangements of classical music have been newly performed without using samplers from the original track and without losing the crescendo divided in the three parts of melody . Powerful versions that rest in the last track for us to have sweet dreams... LOVE NEVER DIES.

'ONIRIC " Cabaret syndrome" (CD)

Oniric is an italian project founded/started in 2005. Oniric was formed / founded by Carlo De Filippo and GianVigo (Gianpiero Timbro). From the start their first spontaneous and artistic meeting the resulting compositions where ethereal, dreaming and inspirational. The combination of Carlo's Sad Chords and smooth dark sound and GianVigo's sonorous and contemplative melodies in the first works created an intimate and nostalgic feel. After a very long and intensive period of live shows and with the collaboration of Simona Giusti in recording sessions and also after several radio broadcasts the Duo were signed to the Caustic Records label at the beginning of 2009. The dream like journey now begins with the release of "Cabaret Syndrome". 'PLASMODIVM " Paradise Under Fire" (DigiCD)

The year 2008 marks the debut on Caustic Records of this spanish project who has been many years working quietly into the darker electro-industrial field. With this first work titled "Paradise Under Fire", they start a formula that pursues to actively serve as a bridge between the two main currents of the Dark EBM, focusing in the nineties one, but without ignoring sounds and structures more in line with emerging Dark Electro trends. A sonic virus extremely powerful, deadly and corrosive in whose test tube is possible to perceive the influence of bands like Suicide Commando, Sleepwalker, Velvet Acid Christ, E-Craft, Leaether Strip or :Wumpscut: and that, coupled with his unique vision of making dark electronic, makes this Paradise in Flames a shocking experience recommended for the good dark EBM taster, and reaches heights of superb quality with truly daunting tracks as "Be unclean - Stay impure", "Rise," "Life As Slave" or the epic last song of the album "Mi Vida se Apaga parte II," all of them real bombs to the dance floor. In both projects outstands the careful usage of film-sampling in the non-vocals tracks, achieving the creation of simple sound fx and fat atmospheres full of tension. Summarizing, Fuel Split CD is one of the more interesting and innovative proposals into the spanish electronica, in the first place by its originality and secondly by its quality, achieving to break the stereotype of sounds and styles predictable in Spain and contributing with new blood to the spanish alternative panorama.
