About Caveat Emperor

Much of the music today is created to be background noise - allowing the listener to shut off their mind and forget about the deeper questions and troubles facing humanity. Despite this, many in our society still believe that music can serve a greater purpose - as a tool of expression, communication, and even of revolution. As a part of this movement, my hope is that our music will stir up a wide range of thoughts and emotions - and instead of shutting off the mind, help keep it active and expanding in new directions. Hopefully you like the way it sounds as well. Steve
