About me:
Welcome to The Cave Studios, a state of the art recording studio in Leipers Fork (Franklin, Tennessee). The Cave is a recording facility that pairs vintage gear with modern digital equipment. The Cave welcomes all styles of music and not one project is too big or too small. We welcome all freelance engineers and producers to the studio. We are here to assist you so that your session runs smoothly and comfortably. Located on 31 acres of thick trees, the studio is isolated for the artist but still only 45 minutes from downtown Nashville and Music Row. The Cave Studios is owned and operated by musician, songwriter, and producer, Andrew Hooker. Andrew Hooker is also the founder of Nashville based Roots Rock and Jam band, VINYL SOUP and has been producing for The Cave Studios since 2002.
The Cave Studio is a 1500 sq ft, 32 track state of the art Pro Tools HD3 recording studio in Franklin, TN. The Cave is located in the German historic district, Leipers Fork, just 15 minutes southwest of downtown Franklin on 31 acres of beautiful running creeks and trees. The studio features a large live tracking room, three isolation rooms, a kitchenette, a lounge, and wireless internet.
The Cave Studio was designed and built in 2005/2006 by Mark Wenner of Studio Construction, Nashville, TN. Mark’s credits include Yanni, John Tesh, Emerald’s B Room on Music Row, Private Music, and Polygram/Island Publishing just to name a few. Mark’s architectural expertise and sonic excellence have made The Cave a must see and home for many songwriters, musicians, and artist of all genres. The Cave has been wired with Mogami cable and all patch bays were custom built and installed by David Rochester of Technical Audio Services.
