About me:

In 2005, six authors banded together to create a literary network from Northern and Southern California, after much debate over a name, The California Writers Collective (CWC) was born.

Since then, the CWC has been quite active in conducting free writers workshops, meeting up with fellow authors around the country, and continuing to encourage and support one another's endeavors.

In past years, the CWC has grown in both number and recognition as a viable network and we feel the best is yet to come for the Collective. We were the proud hosts of the Los Angeles Black Book Expo and we continue to assist aspiring authors who need a helping hand.

Who I'd like to meet:

We hope to encourage and inspire as many aspiring and beginning writers as possible!

We are always looking to network with other aspiring, new and veteran writers in the literary world. If you're a new author and you're interested in what we do and would like more information, please contact us here or at our website at www.californiawriterscollective.com. We encourage book clubs, readers, etc to stay connected with the Collective as well.
