Caws Pobi was the schizophrenic solo project of The Taste's drummer Brett Smith. Fiercely inconsistent with moments of inspired happenstance, Pobi's songs draw as much influence from avant-garde electronica as American & European folk, with a fair dose of Brazillian melody and an unwavering devotion to 70s glam weirdness.
