"The first thing we notice is a not-too-muddy-yet pair of green wellies with the words 'Asazi' and 'Love' spray painted on them in bright orange. This seems appropriate as the next thing we notice is the most beautiful sound coming out of the mouth of the owner of said wellies – Asazi himself. Accompanied by Alex Marten ..board, effects, guitar and percussion, Caz Anthony on drums and Andy Farina on bass, lead man Asazi mesmerises the crowd with his treacle-rich voice, molten sax and unhinged marimba. The tracks come hot and fast – a sonorous mix of melodic heart-wrenchers and thumping, booty-shaking rock-out rhythms. What explodes on stage is an inter-planetary mix of afro-celt-space-funk-dub-tech-balkan lunacy, vibrant with a mélange of musical and cultural influence not attributable to any one place, time or solar system. Asazi Space Funk Explosion… this is revolution." - By Jennifer Lynn Williams, Reverb Magazine.

"At last a follow up to Janette Mason's sparkling debut as leader. Alien Left Hand ....was well worth the wait…” Production **** Performance**** -- BBC Music Magazine
“…an album fizzing with fresh ideas and delights, an exhilarating musical journey .. with brilliantly original writing and inspired playing…” -- Helen Mayhew
"Every track from the rhythmic ‘NY Cab Ride’ and restless ‘4 Wheel Drive’ to the brooding ‘Mae’s Song’ has a terrific hook but it’s the way Mason switches tempo and moods that makes ALH great fun. " -- Diva Magazine
